This is the information you need to enter into the
Import_Template.CSV Excel Import Template file. Here's a partial picture
of the Import Template in Excel.

Column A - Required, Up to 25 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column A is the UPC Code. You can actually put any alpha numeric characters here as long as they are unique. This can be up to 25 characters in length
Column B - Optional, Up to 25 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column B is the item (or product) number..
Column C - Optional, Up to 25 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column C is the SKU Code.
Column D - Optional, Up to 25 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column D is the Vendor's part number.
Column E - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column E is the Vendor's name.
Column F - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column F is the item (or product) name.
Column G - Required, 1 Alpha character in length
Column G is the item type. It's "S" for a shelf item, "P" for a peg item or "I" for a signage item.

Column H - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column H is the Category.
Column I - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length

Column J - Required, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column J is the width of the item in inches or centimeters. The width must be a whole number or decimal. No fractions are accepted. Do not put "inches" or "cm" (or anything else) after the number.
Column K - Required, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column K is the height of the item in inches or centimeters. The height must be a whole number or decimal. No fractions are accepted. Do not put "inches" or "cm" (or anything else) after the number.
Column L - Required, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column L is the depth of the item in inches or centimeters. The depth must be a whole number or decimal. No fractions are accepted. Do not put "inches" or "cm" (or anything else) after the number.
Column M - Optional, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column M is the weight of the item.
Column N - Optional, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column N is the carton pack, the number of items in a carton, or case. It's used for reporting only.

Column O - Required for peg items, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column O is the distance, in inches or centimeters, of the peg hole from the left of the item. This must be a whole number or decimal. No fractions are accepted. Do not put "inches" or "cm" (or anything else) after the number.
Column P - Required for peg items, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column P is the distance, in inches or centimeters, of the peg hole from the top of the item. This must be a whole number or decimal. No fractions are accepted. Do not put "inches" or "cm" (or anything else) after the number.
Column Q - Optional, Up to 7 Numeric characters in length
Column Q is the suggested retail price of the item. This can be dollars or other currency. It's used to calculate the potential profit of the item.
Column R - Optional, Up to 7 Numeric characters in length
Column R is the cost of the item. This can be dollars or other currency. It's used to calculate the potential profit of the item.
Column S - Not Entered
Column S is the last change date of the item. The system automatically enters this.

Column T - Required, Up to 2 Numeric characters in length
Column T is the color of the border of the product box displayed on the screen. It's a number from 1 to 16, indicating a color from the chart below. If you leave this blank, a 9 (black) is assumed.
Column U - Required, Up to 2 Numeric characters in length
Column U is the fill color of the product box displayed on the screen. It's a number from 1 to 16, indicating a color from the chart above. If you leave this blank, a 1 (white) is assumed.

Column W - Optional, Up to 100 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column W is the name of the item image if you want to show a photo of the item. Enter the full path and name of the item photo. Over 20 image types are supported, but try to keep the image size under 100k.

Column X - Optional, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column X is transparent color if using a photo image. This is a -1 (negative one) if there's no transparent color, or enter a windows long color. Zero is a transparent color of black, 16777215 is a white transparent color.

Column Y - Optional, Up to 8 Numeric characters in length
Column Y is the nest amount if the item can be nested on top of another item. This is the distance, in inches or centimeters, of the top of one item to the top of the item nested above.
Column Z - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column Z is the first user field. You can store additional information is this field.
Column AA - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column AA is the Second user field. You can store additional information is this field.
Column AB - Optional, Up to 50 AlphaNumeric characters in length
Column AB is the third user field. You can store additional information is this field.
Column AC - Required, Up to 3 Alpha characters in length
Column AC indicates if the measurements (height, width and depth) are in inches or centimeters. If using metric measurements (centimeters), enter "YES" or enter "NO" if using inches.
After entering all information, save the template as a .CSV file, ignore the Excel
message that formatting will be removed.
Then, in Shelf Logic, choose "Import" from the file menu. Then enter the name of the CSV file just saved.
